...like minded
Birds of a Feather Noted columnist Cliff Kincaid recently wrote, "Not all conservatives thought the [New York] Times was off-base in going after McCain's ties to lobbyists. These activists are angry that McCain is surrounded by lobbyists who put corporate interests ahead of conservative interests. They note, for example, that it has been impossible to get McCain to firmly commit to opposing the U.N.'s Law of the Sea Treaty. McCain has also indicated support for the International Criminal Court."
Indefensible
In defense of Hillary In our minds…it is the wizards, behind the curtain, who control and manipulate "the show." They do not! However, if you allow the ‘wizards’ to run your show, you leave yourself no choice in the outcome of your life or the life of your civilization.
Potter now all set for slammer
Pagan inmates can have magic wands "Prison service policy is to enable prisoners of different faith traditions, including paganism, to practise their religion. "Religious artefacts are allowed for relevant faiths within the constraints of good order and discipline. The religious artefacts for pagan prisoners include a flexible twig for a wand."

Paying for the orgasim
A lesson in priorities for Christians I'm not questioning the First Amendment rights of anyone, but I have to wonder if under today's "tolerance is supreme" mindset, we would have also encouraged and welcomed Nazism with open arms into our schools, universities, churches, prisons and neighborhoods. If a presidential candidate who favors killing 50 million citizens can be supported by self-proclaimed "evangelical Christians," I think the answer is yes. Thankfully, we have history to show us the result of such an unmistakable evil philosophy.

McCain may not have time on his side.

Honest, Abe Lincoln next for Speilberg "I want to start 'Lincoln' in early 2009, because it's Lincoln's 200th anniversary," Spielberg told the German magazine Focus. Marvin Levy, Spielberg's spokesman, confirmed the director's production plans Sunday. Liam Neeson, who was in talks to play the 16th U.S. president based on an adaptation of "Team of Rivals," a biography by historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, is still associated with the project, Levy confirmed.
Never mind that, where will you go?
The 'I kill you look' in 2012
Obama's true stance on Israel Obama and his staffers have dismissed any scrutiny of his views on Israel with a blend of outrage and sarcasm, as if his record of support for Israel is so extensive, so undeniable, that anybody who raises doubts about his actual views is launching an inquisition. But as is the case with most issues, Obama is such a blank slate, and has such a thin public record,
Cushed man, killing him
Mom, 94, on ATV kills son Ronald Smith was opening a gate when his mother apparently lost control of the Kubota RTV 900 utility vehicle she was riding and hit the gate, then caromed off the gate and struck her son. He was trapped underneath the vehicle, police said. Police said Mary Smith tried to get the vehicle off her son, but couldn't.
Shalom!
Israel: The miracle country turns 60 God promised in Ezekiel 37 that rather than forsaking the Jews in the end times, He would revive them as a people by bringing them "out of their graves" (Hitler's attempted extermination of the Jewish race in the Holocaust) and back to their homeland (Israel's miraculous rebirth in 1948). So much for Replacement Theology!
Less pain
Tithing with plastic? I would also challenge your finance team to find one place in the Bible where something positive is said about debt. God calls debt a curse and says the borrower is slave to the lender. When God talks that way about something, it makes me think it's probably not a good thing. This isn't a salvation issue, but why in the world would leaders of a church want to steer the congregation toward something negative? Hopefully, you can put an end to this bad idea before it's too late!
Islamocool
Dump the 'cool,' grab your cross It's no secret that churches are using gimmicks to attract the masses. Much like all of the rock bands I worked with, the cooler and hipper you are, the more you can attract a crowd. This is prevalent in so many churches, and it usually starts in the youth groups. They're raised to be cool, listen to cool music and dress cool. I actually had a youth pastor say to me, “We want to show the unsaved that we can be as cool and have as much fun as the world, " to which I replied, "I spent most of my youth and life learning how to be cool, but when I came to Jesus I realized that when he said crucify the flesh and don't be like the world he meant it".
...but does he get better mileage?
Protest: Man saws own car in half Mr Taylor said he made several efforts to explain that the car had a SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) certificate verifying it had not been driven on the road and that it had been parked on his drive. "We tried to talk to [NCP]. I said, 'you're not taking it'. I got my cutter and cut it in half," he said.
Truth, consequences and Ebeneezer
