In response to Iran's Ahmadinejad's latest lie, "Muslim's do not hate Americans": Yes, and every time Muslim's scream and screech "Death to America," I can feel the love. I'm sure they mean "Death to America" in a good way.
Each time I remember the shouting, dancing and celebrating in which Muslims engaged after 9/11, I feel the love, the tolerance and the feeling of regret this "religion of peace" must feel.
Each time I remember my uncle's death of a heart attack while he was working in the oil fields of Saudi Arabia, helping the sheiks to make billions of dollars, because it was Ramadan and doctors' treating "infidels" on a "holy" day was forbidden, I can feel the love, the tolerance and the inclusion. If my uncle had been given basic care, he would have lived. But since he was not a Muslim, it was forbidden to touch him. They would not even transport him to the American embassy so he could be transported to a hospital, these peaceful, loving people.
Each time I remember watching the news on Nov. 4, 1979, and finding out that Iranian Muslim students (of the religion of peace) violently took over the American embassy in Tehran and held Americans for 444 days, I can feel the love, tolerance and respect of those members of the "religion of peace." I'm sure they were sorry! I'm sure this was just a youthful indiscretion. C'mon! We can be big about it!
I remember the 1982-1991 terror against the U.S. and 30 Western countries where they killed some, some died in captivity and one poor soul was held for 2,425 days. When I think back on that act, I am sure Terry Anderson felt the love.
Other Muslim atrocities … uhhh … love fests included so many, many, many more, such as Muslims bombing a U.S. Marine base in Lebanon, killing 241 Marines; Muslims bombing a U.S. embassy annex, killing 24; and on and on and on until present day. If you have the stomach for it, I highly suggest typing into your Internet browser "Muslim terrorist attacks on USA." Then you, too, can feel the love the "religion of peace" Muslims have for Americans.
By the way, if you truly believe that Muslims do not hate Americans, I have a nice riverfront property in New Orleans that includes a wonderful little café that sells café au lait and beignets, a large aquarium, a riverboat landing including several riverboats and many other profitable businesses.
