Do I take the fam to Hawaii or Kenya?

Vacationing in Hawaii or Kenya?

I just sent this to Fox News – thought you might get a kick out of it.

I wanted to take my family to Hawaii and visit the historic birthplace of our first black president. Can anyone in the Fox News group tell me which hospital to go to? I can go and visit every other one of our president's birthplaces.

Obama's half sister said in two different interviews that he was born in two different hospitals in Hawaii. His grandmother said she was there when he was born on that proud day in Kenya. Since Obama hasn't been transparent with a long-form birth certificate, I don't know where to go. I would think the hospital that our historic president was born at would be more than happy to advertise his birthplace. Of course, the ambassador of Kenya said the spot where Obama was born in Kenya is a national monument. That of course couldn't be the case because that would mean that Obama couldn't be eligible to be president. But then again, his father was Kenyan, and his father's loyalties were to the British commonwealth, which means Obama couldn't be president as well.

    I'm confused.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated so that I will know whether to book my flight to Hawaii or whether to update my passport and take the fam to Kenya.

    Sincerely,

    Jeff

There is no two-state solution for Israel

Palestinian state is symptomatic of a worldwide disease

The world’s fixation on a Palestinian state is symptomatic of a worldwide disease. Some would diagnose this disease as Jew-hatred. Others would call it stupidity. Still others would say both. Let’s focus on stupidity, which, after all, accounts for much of human history.
It would take heavy tomes to document all the stupidity evoked by the Palestinian state issue. Still, let’s enumerate some points: first, about the Arabs in question, and second, geostrategic considerations.
1) There is no Palestinian language and no Palestinian culture. The Arabs in question are part of the Sunni Arab majority of the Middle East. 2) The Arabs don’t really want a separate independent state.3) They lack the habits, the temperament, and skills required for independent and responsible statehood—as some of the following points make obvious:4) They indoctrinate their children to hate Jews and Israel.5) They train children to be jihadists.6) They have used children as human bombs.7) They elected a variety of thugs to rule over them.8) They venerate a religion whose followers have slaughtered some 270 million human beings since the time of Muhammad.
Turning to geostrategic considerations:
9) There isn’t enough room between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean for two viable states. More than two million Arabs restricted to 2,323 square miles of Judea and Samaria (the “West Bank”), and another million Arabs squeezed into 141 square miles in Gaza, is a formula for economic stagnation and discontent—a cauldron of envious hatred of Israel fueled by one or another terrorist group.10) The imagined state would be a constant threat to Jordan.11) The imagined state would be split by Fatah and Hamas.12) The imagined state, consisting of a dozen rival tribes and clans from the Middle East and North Africa, would invite Iran to quell any internal disturbance.
Now, please indulge my frankness: Aren’t you tired of being reminded of the poor “Palestinians” whose charming media call for “Death to Israel” and “Death to America”?,.

We SAY: Aren’t you tired of hearing that the conflict in question is not a territorial conflict but an ideological conflict? This is so obvious that one might reasonably conclude that President Obama and his Middle East advisers are either Pavlovian idiots or Pavlovian Jew-hatters responding to a bell called “Israel.”

Omama: Where Isalm was revealed

Obama's Islam: Now he tells us

If anyone thinks that Barack Obama is a Muslim now, there is no one to blame but Barack Obama. In his speech in Cairo, Obama said that he had "known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed." Obama didn't say that he had come to the region where "Muslims believe that Islam was first revealed," or where Islam "began," or was "founded." Revealed.

Obama referred to "the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization [that] led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam." Yes, the West is hostile to misogyny, honor killings, racism and Jew-hatred. Obama also preached about religious freedom – speaking in a country where there is none. Yet he did find time to mention "civilization's debt to Islam." The president said that Islam "carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe's Renaissance and Enlightenment," and praised "innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed."

This is revisionist nonsense. Robert Spencer wrote: "The idea that Islamic culture was once a beacon of learning and enlightenment is a commonly held myth. In fact, much of this has been exaggerated, often for quite transparent apologetic motives." Nor was that the end of Obama's Islamic apologetics. Andrew Bostom noted Obama's Quranic cherry picking: The president quoted Quran 5:32, attempting to "demonstrate that the Quran disapproved of violence and killing," but left out Quran 5:33, which turns that anti-violence message (taken from the Talmud) into a warning to the Jews that they will be tortured and murdered if they resist Muhammad.

What is the purpose and end result of all this pandering? Foremost is the throwing of Israel under the bus. MK Aryeh Eldad noted that "Obama makes a shocking parallel between the destruction of European Jewry and the suffering that the Arabs of Israel brought upon themselves when they declared war on Israel." Caroline Glick lamented that Obama "shares the Arab world's view that there is something basically illegitimate about the Jewish state."

Calling for a New World Order - Not in so many words

Much has been made of President Barack Obama's "reconciliation" speech in Cairo, Egypt, last week. For the most part, the American media have focused on Obama's attempt to "repair" relations with the Muslim nations of the world. For example, Obama referenced the Koran five times, and the Bible only once. (It is noteworthy that one of the Koranic references Obama used was a verse dedicated to Islamic Jihad, in which Muslims are required to kill infidels--meaning those who are not Muslims, of course. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of America's major media failed to report this story. See the WND report.
As nonsensical and revolting as much of Obama's speech was, the most egregiously dangerous statement he made in his Egyptian speech was another one that all but a small portion of America's mainstream media bothered to report. The sinister statement is as follows:
"Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail. So whatever we think of the past, we must not be prisoners to it." (Barack Obama 06/04/2009, Source: WhiteHouse.gov)
Like his predecessors, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George H.W. Bush, Barack Obama envisions a global union, in which all nations are linked commercially, governmentally, and militarily. Bush I called it a "New World Order;" Bush II called it an "international order;" Clinton often regurgitated Bush Sr.'s "New World Order" mantra; and Barack Obama called it a "world order." Do people not recognize that every President since Ronald Reagan (both Democrat and Republican) has called for an international one-world order? Obama's speech goes a step further, however.
In calling for a "world order," Obama blatantly said "Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation . . . over another will inevitably fail." Does everyone understand what Obama is saying? In order for this new "world order" to materialize, no individual nation can be preferred over another--not even our own.

Obama drags the economy down not forward

"Mikhail Gorbachev presided over the collapse of his country like Barack Obama is presiding over the collapse of his," Limbaugh said on his program today. "And so a man who knows how to collapse his own economy is now advising us on how to collapse ours.

"Ladies and gentlemen, there can be no other way to say this now. The gloves have to come off. It's time for people to sober up. The president of the United States, Barack Obama, is destroying the United States economy. There is no other way to describe this, systematically destroying it," he said.

"'Rush, are you saying he's destroying it on purpose?' I'm not going there, it doesn't matter. What matters is the United States economy is being destroyed. Even the Associated Press, government-run Associated Press with a headline: 'Big Government Spending Programs Have Opposite Effect on Economy.' They are concluding that you cannot spend yourself out of a recession. So what is President Obama planning to do? Spend even more, even sooner," he said. "Here is the AP story: 'The Federal Reserve announced a $1.2 trillion plan three months ago designed to push down mortgage rates and breathe life into the housing market. But this and other big government spending programs are turning out to have the opposite effect.' It is not just that they aren't working, they are hurting, they are harming."

America's first Muslim president?

Or the last American President?

During his White House years, William Jefferson Clinton -- someone Judge Sonia Sotomayor might call a "white male" -- was dubbed "America's first black president" by a black admirer. Applying the standard of identity politics and pandering to a special interest that earned Mr. Clinton that distinction, Barack Hussein Obama would have to be considered America's first Muslim president.
This is not to say, necessarily, that Mr. Obama actually is a Muslim any more than Mr. Clinton actually is black. After his five months in office, and most especially after his just-concluded visit to Saudi Arabia and Egypt, however, a stunning conclusion seems increasingly plausible: The man now happy to have his Islamic-rooted middle name featured prominently has engaged in the most consequential bait-and-switch since Adolf Hitler duped Neville Chamberlain over Czechoslovakia at Munich.
What little we know about Mr. Obama's youth certainly suggests that he not only had a Kenyan father who was Muslim, but spent his early, formative years as one in Indonesia.

Our 'student of history'

Two Palestinians meet at a Gaza coffee house and discuss President Barack Obama's speech to "the Muslim world":

Muhammad 1 – Hey, Muhammad, did you catch that Obama speech from Cairo?

Muhammad 2 – Yeah, Muhammad. What a hoot. Laughed myself silly.

M1 – For sure. The guy's got the best stand-up lines since Henny Youngman.

M2 – Youngman. He was a Jew, wasn't he?

M1 – Yeah, but funny. I was knocked over by Obama's line about being a "student of history."

M2 – Oh! I was rolling after that one: "Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality." I got your possibility – right here! (He gestures suggestively.)

M1 – Can you say dhimmitude – the dependent status of non-Muslims in our lands? (The two laugh uproariously.)

M1 – (wiping tears or laughter from his cheeks) Love the way our culture has protected its non-Muslims. You know, Obama even said America and Islam share "principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings." He should have said, all human beings – except women!" (More laughter)

M2 – How about this one: "When the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Quran that one of our Founding Fathers – Thomas Jefferson – kept in his personal library." He made it sound as if Jefferson and Muslims "shared principles."

M1 – Hey! That one wasn't so funny to me. I still haven't forgotten Jefferson saying "millions for defense, but not one cent for tribute," and going after our brothers on the Barbary Coast. Pirates indeed!

M2 – Lighten up, will you? The guy's a comic. Didn't you catch the satire when he said "we are partnering with 46 countries" in Afghanistan and Pakistan? How many from those 46 countries actually are carrying guns? Maybe – 46?

M1 (chuckling) – Maybe 46. Say, didn't you love the way he used that line: "The Holy Quran teaches that whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind."

M2 – Yep. That should help our cause in America, where the politicians never quote the Quran lines about never taking infidels as friends, especially, "If they turn back, then seize them, and slay them wherever ye find them. …"

Obama's 'can't we all get along speech

President Obama made an earnest effort ¡ª as is his way in matters of discord ¡ª to split the difference with the Islamic world. His speech essentially amounted to: ¡°We did that, you did this, tit-for-tat, now we¡¯re even, and can¡¯t we all just get along?¡± He should be congratulated for expressing a desire for peace and for gently reminding the Muslim world of the way to reform, even if he did so while inflating Western sins.

But the problem with such moral equivalence is that it equates things that are, well, not equal ¡ª and therefore ends up not being moral at all.

To pull it off, one must distort both the past and the present for the presumed higher good of getting along. In the 1930s, British intellectuals performed feats of intellectual gymnastics in trying to contextualize Hitler¡¯s complaints against the Versailles Treaty, assignment of guilt for the First World War, and French bellicosity ¡ª straining to overlook the intrinsic dangers of National Socialism for the higher good of avoiding another Somme. Over the short term, such revisionism worked; over the longer term, it ensured a highly destructive war.

Obama's 180 on Islam

By Floyd and Mary Beth Brown

One year ago, in June 2008, Floyd produced a television ad that asked the simple question, "Was Barack Obama ever a Muslim?" The Obama campaign came unglued. It earned Floyd prominent placement on a special Obama website called "Fight the Smears."

The news media jumped on the bandwagon. Newsweek reported: "Barack Obama has never been Muslim and never practiced Islam. But rumors about his religion intended to frighten some voters persist, and they mostly return to one point of fact: his name." The Boston Globe wrote: "Obama is a member of the United Church of Christ. His Kenyan paternal grandfather and Indonesian stepfather were Muslim, but he attended secular and Catholic schools and was never a practicing Muslim."

The attacks on Floyd grew personal; Chris Matthews on MSNBC, all but called Floyd a racist, saying, "This guy hides under a rock every couple generations, shows up again with another ad against a black candidate." (There never was a black nominee to do ads against before Obama, but facts are not important to Matthews.) Obama even blamed Floyd for breaking his pledge to use public financing for his campaign, saying, "527s pop up pretty quickly and have enormous influence and we've seen them – there was an ad, one in South Dakota by Floyd Brown I think where it took a speech that I had made extolling faith and made it seem as if I had said that America was a Muslim nation."

If Islam is such a 'religion of peace' why do they have to keep reminding us?

“Last week, four Southern Baptists were arrested for plotting to blow up St Patrick’s Cathedral. The men, who became born-again Christians in prison, wanted to kill and terrorize Catholics.”

If Islam is such a “religion of peace,” why do they have to keep reminding us? Nobody’s running around saying “Christianity is a religion of peace” or “Judaism is a religion of peace” – because neither proposition is in doubt.

Yet, George W. Bush felt compelled to regularly reassure us (especially after 9/11) that Islam was about as peaceful as a religion can get.

Speaking at a 2005 dinner marking the end of Ramadan, Bush’s Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, said Mohammedanism was the "religion of love and peace.” For Condi, being peaceful wasn’t enough. Islam had to be warm and cuddly too. “We in America know the benevolence that is at the heart of Islam,” Rice absurdly remarked. “We’ve seen it in many ways”
including in glorious Technicolor, in the video of the decapitation of Daniel Pearl.

President Obama boasts of his Muslim relations and his upbringing in Jakarta. In a speech to the Turkish parliament during his first trip abroad as president, Barack Hussein Obama assured the Muslin world that America “will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country.”

Glenn Beck, we need your help...

Dear Glenn,

Please read what my friend, Chuck Balwin writes:
In spite of Constitutional requirements to keep its hands off religious liberty, the U.S. government routinely singles out Christian practices for public repudiation. For years now, federal judges have demanded that local schools (under the jurisdiction of local and state governments) prohibit prayers or Bible reading.
Does anyone find it a little interesting that all over America, while Christian students are denied the right to pray or read the Bible in public schools, Muslim students are not only allowed to pray in public schools, but are also often provided special prayer rooms within the schools so that those students may leave their classrooms and pray? In fact, in some school districts, if the Muslim prayer time interferes with a student's tests, the student is many times free to make up the test in order that he or she may be faithful to the prayer meeting. Of course, the reading of the Koran is also included in the Muslim's prayer time. All of this is done with the full knowledge and blessing of the U.S. government (and the ACLU, by the way), including the myriad federal courts--courts that are always "fast on the draw" to squash any and all attempts by Christians to pray or read their Bibles in public schools.

And it is not just the Muslim religion that meets with the approval of the U.S. government. Federal courts find no fault in public school students observing Kwanzaa, celebrating the pagan holiday of Halloween, or engaging in various eastern religious practices such as Hindu meditation. At least one school district in Utah has allowed Tibetan monks to conduct Tantric Buddhist devotionals in its public schools. At least two schools in California have even introduced New Age curricula honoring Lucifer to their students. Basically, any and all religious beliefs are condoned and tolerated by the U.S. government--every belief system except Christianity, that is.

Why we're here, where we are and where we're going

From the writings of Columbus to the Mayflower Compact, to the Declaration of Independence, America's founders clearly and articulately enshrined bedrock Christian principles in the foundation of this country. For example, in explaining the purpose of his journey that led to the discovery of the new world, Christopher Columbus said, "It was the Lord who put into my mind...
I SAY: It's more than a little disturbing that all over America Christian students can't pray or read the Bible in government schools, Muslim students however are allowed to pray in government schools and are also often provided prayer rooms within those schools so that those students may leave their classrooms and pray. Muslin students are also allow to skip exams if they interfere with prayer time. Get the picture?

Critics question pick for Islamic speaker at DNC

Given the Obama campaign’s sensitivities, some critics question why Dr. Ingrid Mattson, president of The Islamic Society of North America or ISNA is being given a prominent role at the Democratic National Convention’s “interfaith gathering,” which kicks off the Denver convention on Sunday.
