Obama: Wrong again

It took the Obama administration eight days to figure out whether Iranians being gunned down for protesting a fraudulent election and demanding basic civil liberties deserved to be acknowledged by the president of the United States. It took the O-Team less than eight hours to side with Cuba's Fidel Castro, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega over the ouster of Manuel Zelaya in Honduras.

As we now have come to expect, Mr. Obama got it wrong again, but this time, nobody noticed. The U.S. news media, preoccupied with the sudden demise of Michael Jackson  

Manuel Zelaya, a wealthy rancher and agribusiness executive and a self-described "poor farmer," won a four-year term as Honduran president in November 2005, with 49.8 percent of the vote. Article 374 of the Honduran Constitution bars the nation's chief executive from serving consecutive terms. Apparently, one term wasn't enough for Zelaya, a protégé of Venezuela's strongman, Hugo Chavez and Nicaragua's phobic anti-American leader, Daniel Ortega.

Late last year, as the Honduran economy tanked and unemployment grew to nearly 28 percent, Zelaya forced Elvin Santos, the country's elected vice president, to resign and began holding conversations with Chavez and Ortega on how to hold on to power. In lengthy Chavez-like populist speeches, he denounced the U.S. and wealthy landowners and linked himself with leftists in the Honduran labor movement. On March 23, he issued an executive decree directing a national referendum on a Venezuela-style constituent assembly to rewrite the country's constitution in time for presidential and legislative elections in November. The Obama-Clinton State Department was mute about all of this.

Unfortunately for Zelaya's aspirations, the Honduran Constitution requires that amendments be passed by a two-thirds vote of the country's unicameral Congress during two consecutive sessions. By late May, the Honduran Congress, the Honduran Supreme Court, the commissioner for human rights and the Honduran electoral tribunal all had overwhelmingly declared the referendum unconstitutional. Zelaya ignored the people's representatives, had ballots printed in Venezuela, and announced that the vote would take place June 28. Again, the O-Team was silent.

So (President) Barack Obama is going to teach us (and by extension, God) a few things about the supposed morality of homosexual relationships? “Audacity” suddenly seems like too small a word for Mr. Obama. A few years ago this fellow was a back-bencher in Springfield, Illinois, unable to summon up the strength of character to vote for a bill designed to protect babies “born alive” through botched abortions. Now he’s President of the greatest and most blessed nation on earth and is so sure of his moral rectitude (or, conversely, cynical of divine absolutes) that he dismisses those “worn arguments and old attitudes” against homosexual behavior — you know, the ones rooted in Genesis in the Old Testament and Romans in the New.

Who can quantify the arrogance of politicians, whose gargantuan egos lead them to make moral pronouncements that are, theologically and philosophically speaking, way “beyond their pay grade” (to paraphrase the strategically humble Obama)? This is not the first time Obama has played God: in the Democratic primary both he and Hillary Clinton — faced with the comment by Gen. Peter Pace that homosexual acts are immoral and incompatible with miliary service — simply declared that Gen. Pace was wrong because homosexuality is not immoral. Who knew that overturning five millennia of Judeo-Christian teachings was so simple?

 Who's pulling the strings?

''Although President Obama has a Kenyan father, and was later adopted by an Indonesian national, the fact that his mother was a citizen should legitimize his being born a U.S. citizen. At question is whether his citizenship was renounced when he moved to Indonesia with his mother and adopted father and attended a Muslim school. It is unlikely his birth certificate would indicate that he is born of some other lineage, however his birth certificate is sealed and the public does not have access to his records.''

While I appreciate your quest to find Barack Obama's birth certificate, it seems to me that the question of his eligibility has already been resolved. Mr. Obama has publicly stated in writing that he was born under British rule. His father was a Kenyan citizen under British rule. These facts are not disputed and, in themselves, disqualify Mr. Obama from holding the office of the president of the United States of America.
A "natural born citizen" has been clearly defined as one whose parents are both citizens and who was born in the country. Whereas there have been questions pertaining to place of birth, there have been no arguments pertaining to the requirement that both parents must be citizens. Even Mr. Obama, a self-proclaimed constitutional scholar, has concurred with this on numerous occasions, even cosponsoring legislation and other official documents that support and reinforce this definition.
So the real questions must be: "Why is it so important that we have Mr. Obama, or any other individual for that matter, as POTUS that we must completely and clearly disregard our Constitution?" and "Who has so much control over our politicians at every level that none of them will even address the issue?"
Remedy may be found in several ways:
Mr. Obama may discover some self-respect and respect for our country and step down. (Don't hold your breath.)
A Pro Warranto may be filed against Mr. Obama (and lots of other government officials who failed to perform their Constitutional duties) in the District Court of Washington, D.C. The supreme court does not have original jurisdiction in this case.
We must vote to replace all of the representatives and senators at the federal and state level (governors, too) who have failed to fulfill their sworn duty to protect and defend our Constitution at our next opportunity – even if we otherwise like them! Start letting them know how you feel.
We must discover who is really calling the shots and bring them to light ... and then to justice.
If we ever had a single issue to bring us together, this is it. Without respect for our Constitution we don't have "jack spit." As Mr. Obama has already demonstrated in the bond and stock markets and bankruptcy courts, he is not bound by our Constitution or any other law. That which "can't happen in America" is happening in America. We are under an attack far more serious than Pearl Harbor or 9/11. It's time now to put a stop to those who wish to conquer us from within, and re-establish our constitutional republic!

America's grand experiment in democratic self-governance is under assault as never before in our nation's nearly 233-year history.

Consider the following:

America's system of checks and balances, designed to safeguard against tyranny, is in shambles.

Thus, our tyrannical president, committed to replacing free and private enterprise with government-run socialism, is able to do so, virtually at will.

That same tyrannical president is able to downgrade national defense, drive the nation to the cusp of financial ruin and trash the best health care system in the world in favor of a government run HMO, again, virtually unchallenged.

Our tyrannical president is able to use tax laws as a tool for punishing the successful in order to reward the mediocre.

He is able to bow before foreign kings, denounce America and her leaders while on foreign soil and apologize for American superiority as though it were a curse rather than a blessing.

He is able to ignore the dangers of open borders and to thumb his nose at the rule of law when it comes to millions of illegal aliens and their pilfering of public services.

He is able to thwart all checks and balances by appointing czars of this, that and the other, responsible to no one but our tyrannical president himself.

Simply put, there is no oversight of government in America these days.

While nearly 400,000 concerned citizens demand President Obama present his elusive "long-form" birth certificate, more than a dozen other documents remain unreleased or otherwise blocked from the public eye.

Numerous documents which have yet to be surrendered include the following.

Obama kindergarten records

The Maui News reported that Obama attended kindergarten at Noelani Elementary School on Oahu during the school year 1966-67. It released a photo of two teachers, Katherine Nakamoto and Aimee Yatsushiro, with five students. The teachers claim one of the children is Barack Obama.

According to the Hawaii Department of Education, students must submit a birth certificate to register. Parents may bring a passport or student visa if the child is from a foreign country.

So far, no records have been released by the school. Noelani Elementary School officials have not responded to WND's request for comment.

Punahou School records

Though from a modest background, Obama began attending the prestigious Punahou School in Honolulu, one of Hawaii's top private institutions. He reportedly received a scholarship and attended the school from the fifth grade until he finished high school, though no financial records have been released.

The Boston Globe reported, "In 1979, the year Obama graduated, tuition for high school students at Punahou was $1,990, a sizable expense compared with Hawaii's median family income of $22,750 that year.
