Pharaoh Obama: ''So Let it Be Written, So Let it be Done''

President
Barack Obama, calling current deficit spending “unsustainable,” warned of skyrocketing interest rates for consumers if the U.S. continues to finance government by borrowing from other countries.

“We can’t keep on just borrowing from China,” Obama said at a town-hall meeting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, outside Albuquerque. “We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”

Holders of U.S. debt will eventually “get tired” of buying it, causing interest rates on everything from auto loans to home mortgages to increase, Obama said. “It will have a dampening effect on our economy.”

The president pledged to work with Congress to shore up entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare and said he was confident that the House and Senate would pass health-care overhaul bills by August.

“Most of what is driving us into debt is health care, so we have to drive down costs,” he said.

Michelle O, and the Oh poor me's

During the presidential primary campaign,
Michelle Obama complained how tough it was to make ends meet. During a stop in Ohio, she said, "I know we're spending - I added it up for the first time - we spend between the two kids, on extracurriculars outside the classroom, we're spending about $10,000 a year on piano and dance and sports supplements and so on and so forth."

Let's examine how tough things were for this couple using various public records.

In April 1999, they purchased a Chicago condo and obtained a mortgage for $159,250. In May 1999, they took out a line of credit for $20,750. Then, in 2002, they refinanced the condo with a $210,000 mortgage, which means they took out about $50,000 in equity. Finally, in 2004, they took out another line of credit for $100,000 on top of the mortgage.

Tax returns for 2004 reveal $14,395 in mortgage deductions. If we assume an effective interest rate of 6%, then they owed about $240,000 on a home they purchased for about $159,250.

This means they spent perhaps $80,000 beyond their income from 1999 to 2004.

Grabbing the Guns on Sesame St.

Parental rights, religious rights, educational rights and the right to discipline are all threatened by the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child. But a careful review of the United Nations' own documents reveals an additional threat to the rights of Americans – the right of private gun ownership.

At first glance, the U.N.'s discussion of guns and children focuses on the subject of children being improperly used by Third World nations as child soldiers. All that can be said on this subject is that the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child, or UNCRC, has had precious little impact in stopping this barbaric practice.

Yet there is another theme to be found in the U.N.'s attack on guns.

U.N. child's rights advocates believe, teach and promote the idea that all private gun ownership is dangerous for children, and children have the right to grow up in a community that is free from all guns.

Will blue-helmeted U.N. personnel be knocking on your door demanding your firearms? Wayne LaPierre lays out the agenda to limit your rights in "The Global War on Your Guns"

Limiting the rights of gun ownership is not some secret agenda of the U.N. but is open for all to see. UNICEF, the official U.N. agency charged with the worldwide advancement of children's rights, has published a four-color brochure entitled: "No Guns Please, We Are Children."

Christians, Government, Demons and You

Let every person be in subjection to governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

– Roman 13:1

A pastor of a very large church recently chastised his congregation for its preoccupation with and involvement in the affairs of government. He said that politics is a Christian "brain cramp."

Using the text of Romans 13:1 and 1 Peter 2:13-17, he told the people in his flock that if they failed to submit to any governmental authority they were in rebellion against God.

The principles of respect for authority and the need for the establishment of an orderly government are repeated throughout Scripture. Without government there is chaos. The tribunal of the pagan magistrate often was all that stood between the early Christians and an angry mob.

At the time those passages were written, the Jews were a rebellious people, and the local governors lived in fear of insurrection. Paul (the author of Romans and the majority of the New Testament), Peter and even Jesus himself urged their followers to be good citizens, to obey the law and pay taxes.

Obamian 'curry favor' Wanda Sykes gives 'birth'

Wanda Sykes and her wife, Alex, welcomed twins on April 27, her rep says.

Daughter Olivia Lou weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz., and was 19-inches long. Son Lucas Claude debuted at 7 lbs., 9 oz., and was 20-inches long. The comedian's wife gave birth to the babies.

"All are happy and healthy and at home," says Sykes's rep Danica Smith.

The upside to this Farce is that Sikes has not Donated anything to the Gene Pool.
There is some other goop who did contribute and shame on him for adding children with no responsibility for his actions.

Shameful! What a sick, sick world this has become.

Realities of heaven and hell

"I would like a simple answer to a simple question. Do you believe that people who die without believing in Jesus Christ as their savior will be saved and go to heaven?"

God promised that He would liberate the human race from death, and that He would do this through the suffering death of the Jewish Messiah (see Isaiah 53). The result would be peace with God for all who would humble themselves, repent and trust the God-given Savior (see Isaiah 55:1-3). Peace with God would mean everlasting life for humanity.

The Old Testament said that the result of conversion would be a new heart with new desires – desires that wanted to please the God, with Whom we were once at enmity (a "heart of stone" toward Him):

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them" (Ezekiel 36:25-27).

The salvation of God (eternal life) would be offered to all men: to the Jew first, then to the Greek, the Indian, as well as Chinese, Russian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Kiwis, Aussies and even to atheists – those who are red and yellow, black and white, all are precious in His sight. Anyone can be saved from death and hell (see Romans 10:13).

There is only one stipulation. They must come to the God-provided Savior, not through a man-made religion that cannot wash away sin. Jesus Christ is the only One who can forgive sin and give peace with God because He was God manifest in human form. There is a big reason for this exclusivity.

All man-made religions are "works righteous" religions. Adherents think that they can get to heaven by being good, praying, fasting, doing good works, through repentance, etc. (see Romans 10:2-3). This is because they don't understand one very important truth. God is utterly perfect. His Law therefore demands moral perfection. It says that lust is adultery in His eyes and hatred is murder. His moral Law (the Ten Commandments) shows us that He is a Judge and we are desperate criminals in His sight. That changes everything. Now, anything we offer the Judge isn't "good works," but a despicable attempt to bribe Him, and that is an abomination in His sight (see Proverbs 21:27). The only thing that can save us is the mercy of the Judge. Fortunately, we are told that God is "rich" in mercy. In His kindness He provided a Savior – someone to pay our fine in His life's blood. That happened at the cross.

This is what that Savior said about Himself: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the father but through me" (John 14:6). Old and New Testament Scripture is consistent: "They shall be My people, and I will be their God; then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them" (Jeremiah 32:38). "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Tragically, whoever dies in their sins will get fearful justice. Whoever dies in Christ will have mercy and thus have everlasting life. It's very simple. See Romans 2:6-9.

So let's not complain about God being unfair because people perish if they die in their sins. Instead, we should become missionaries and spend our lives telling this God-hating world the good news of eternal salvation for all humanity. I did.

$2.6 million drunk Chinese hookers

The National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAA), a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), will pay $2.6 million in U.S. tax dollars to train Chinese prostitutes to drink responsibly on the job.

Dr. Xiaoming Li, the researcher conducting the program, is director of the Prevention Research Center at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.

The grant, made last November, refers to prostitutes as "female sex workers"--or FSW--and their handlers as "gatekeepers."

Schumer on torture: 'Do what you have to do'

The issue of harsh interrogation techniques to fight the war on terror has some lawmakers running for political cover these days.

But at least one U.S. senator, New York Democrat Charles Schumer, made the case in favor of possible use of torture five years ago, explaining "most Americans and most senators, maybe all, would say, 'Do what you have to do'" if there were an imminent nuclear threat against the nation.

Marriage Values: The best strategy for conservative political rebirth

In the vast majority of cases, living in a state of marriage-absence drives our most costly and urgent social and economic problems, including the majority of poverty for women and children, lack of health care coverage, intergenerational illegitimacy, child educational and mental health issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, and much of our crime problem. The budget burden is growing explosively. Economic conservatives must note that tremendous costs of marriage-absence imposed on business and taxpayers has historically precluded sustainable zero-deficit spending since the 1960’s.......

Hard Times Ahead

It’s time to prepare for hard times, my friends. And, if you’re a bible believing, Christ-following Christian, I believe the coming years will be particularly troublesome. I say “bible-believing, Christ-following Christian” because our degenerating culture has all but stripped the biblical definition of the word “Christian” from today’s collective conscience so that it has lost much of it’s scriptural meaning, even among many of today’s attending church members........

Stealing the World

When Sen. Barack Hussein Obama started campaigning for the White House in December, 2007, he promised the voters two things. Universally, he promised change. He never specified what that promised change was going to be, or who would benefit from it. But change of any type seemed to be good enough for an electorateDemocrats and Republicans alikesince everyone seemed to be tired of eight years of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Second, when he addressed the.......

Why We Shall Win and How I Know

First there was Paul Potts. Even his name was prosaic, mundane. In America he would have been called Joe Shmo from Kokomo. When he walked out on stage in nearly dead England, viewers smirked. He was overweight and flabby, his manner diffident. He would have made a Savile Row suit look like a sack. He needed dental work. His job was selling mobile phones. Would you believe he hails from a place called Fishponds? I was watching because many email mentions of his name had inspired my curiosity. What on earth could this archetypical nerd....
