Thinkings on Israel and Obama

I believe that eventually there will be peace in the Middle East. It will probably only take a few more of these "peace process" sessions before Israel cedes so much land to its enemies that it will simply disappear from the face of the earth.
Part of Israel's problems is that it got suckered into calling some of its territory "settlements." That was so dumb that it gave the lie to the long-held notion that we Jews are smart negotiators.
Let's face it, most of the United States at one time or another belonged to some other country. Sometimes we paid for it, as we did with France and Russia, and sometimes we fought for it. But once it was ours, it stayed ours. We didn't call it a settlement, and we didn't hand it over, although I believe that Obama has plans for Arizona that he's not quite ready to announce.
A motto for Jews everywhere, but especially for Israelis, is "never again." It means that never again will Jews quietly enter cattle cars and go off to be exterminated by Nazis – be they pagans or Muslims. That's why I was so surprised that Netanyahu was wasting his time chatting with nincompoops in Washington when he should have been back in Tel Aviv, planning an attack on Iran. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=204085

No forgiveness for your kind of evil Fidel

No forgiveness for your kind of evil Fidel

Fidel Castro's recent statement that communism doesn't work in Cuba anymore was a stunning admission on his part – kind of a deathbed conversion to the efficacy and morality of freedom and free markets. It was, of course, a horrific blow to the far left, particularly in the United States. Here we are, hurtling full speed toward a communist utopia in America, while Cuba, Vietnam, China and other previously hard-core communist countries are moving just as rapidly toward capitalism.
Some may have warm and fuzzy feelings toward good ol' Fidel, kind of like a Charlie Rangel "retire-in-dignity" thing. But what about the untold numbers of Cubans who have been imprisoned, tortured and executed since Castro's takeover of Cuba in 1959? And the hundreds of thousands of Cubans who had to flee their homeland and leave most of their possessions behind?
If I were a Cuban-American who lost family members – or wealth – during Castro's reign of terror, I would be very angry right now. Fifty years of oppressing an entire nation, and now he says communism doesn't work? Sorry, Fidel, but your old-age enlightenment doesn't bring back all the lost family members and stolen wealth. Nor does it bring back the youth of those who have lived under his oppressive regime for more than 50 years.

I can feel the love of Allah

I can feel the love of Allah

In response to Iran's Ahmadinejad's latest lie, "Muslim's do not hate Americans": Yes, and every time Muslim's scream and screech "Death to America," I can feel the love. I'm sure they mean "Death to America" in a good way.
Each time I remember the shouting, dancing and celebrating in which Muslims engaged after 9/11, I feel the love, the tolerance and the feeling of regret this "religion of peace" must feel.
Each time I remember my uncle's death of a heart attack while he was working in the oil fields of Saudi Arabia, helping the sheiks to make billions of dollars, because it was Ramadan and doctors' treating "infidels" on a "holy" day was forbidden, I can feel the love, the tolerance and the inclusion. If my uncle had been given basic care, he would have lived. But since he was not a Muslim, it was forbidden to touch him. They would not even transport him to the American embassy so he could be transported to a hospital, these peaceful, loving people.
Each time I remember watching the news on Nov. 4, 1979, and finding out that Iranian Muslim students (of the religion of peace) violently took over the American embassy in Tehran and held Americans for 444 days, I can feel the love, tolerance and respect of those members of the "religion of peace." I'm sure they were sorry! I'm sure this was just a youthful indiscretion. C'mon! We can be big about it!
I remember the 1982-1991 terror against the U.S. and 30 Western countries where they killed some, some died in captivity and one poor soul was held for 2,425 days. When I think back on that act, I am sure Terry Anderson felt the love.
Other Muslim atrocities … uhhh … love fests included so many, many, many more, such as Muslims bombing a U.S. Marine base in Lebanon, killing 241 Marines; Muslims bombing a U.S. embassy annex, killing 24; and on and on and on until present day. If you have the stomach for it, I highly suggest typing into your Internet browser "Muslim terrorist attacks on USA." Then you, too, can feel the love the "religion of peace" Muslims have for Americans.
By the way, if you truly believe that Muslims do not hate Americans, I have a nice riverfront property in New Orleans that includes a wonderful little café that sells café au lait and beignets, a large aquarium, a riverboat landing including several riverboats and many other profitable businesses. It's all for sale along the Mississippi River and going for a song. No personal checks. Cash only. Only serious buyers need inquire.

Adding more leaches to a bleeding America

Adding more leaches to a bleeding America

Globalize now!

In a classic case of misdirection, while the media are preoccupied with the fate of the Bush tax cuts, President Obama is preparing to attend a United Nations summit next week to endorse “innovative finance mechanisms”—global taxes—to drain even more wealth out of the U.S. economy.
A draft “outcome document” produced in advance of the September 20-22 U.N. Summit on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) commits the nations of the world to supporting “innovative financing mechanisms” to supplement foreign aid spending.
The term “innovative financing mechanisms” is a U.N. euphemism for global taxes. But the document actually goes further, praising the “Task Force on International Financial Transactions for Development” for its work on the subject of mobilizing additional “resources” for countries to achieve the MDGs. This is a body tasked with proposing and implementing global tax schemes. http://www.newswithviews.com/Kincaid/cliff452.htm

No Robin in the Hood

No Robin in the Hood

I’m laughing as I’m writing this. 31 Democrats have signed onto a letter to Pelosi saying they want tax cuts for all, not just those making under $250,000 a year. Naturally, those 31 are most concerned about re election campaigns. With what they have seen already with the focus, power and fund raising ability of that ‘domestic terrorist, ‘racist’, ‘radical’ and ‘UN American’ group…..the Tea Party folks, they should be concerned. Perhaps we are coming to Jesus and going to the alter now are we???
This entire first two years of the Obama administration we have heard endless speeches from Pelosi, Reid and Obama demonizing the rich, business owners, capitalism and achievement. Though we have been in economic fall out, severe recession if not depression and history setting foreclosures with repossessions setting an all time record, Obama has and is raising taxes everywhere he can.
There are at least 20 hidden and absurd taxes in the Health care bill, cap and trade if they get their way and all the tax increases they plan by letting the Bush tax cuts go away. Obama and this congress are trying to figure every way they possibly can to tax everyone, especially anyone who owns a business. http://www.newswithviews.com/Roth/laurie232.htm

Photonic chip set to boost computing power O(2ne) e > 0

Photonic chip set to boost computing power O(2nε) ε > 0

A new photonic chip that works on light rather than electricity has been built by an international research team, paving the way for the production of ultra-fast quantum computers with capabilities far beyond today’s devices.
Future quantum computers will, for example, be able to pull important information out of the biggest databases almost instantaneously. As the amount of electronic data stored worldwide grows exponentially, the technology will make it easier for people to search with precision for what they want.
An early application will be to investigate and design complex molecules, such as new drugs and other materials, that cannot be simulated with ordinary computers. More general consumer applications should follow.

Insufferable "green" cultists

"They loved living here. But I can't let them stay. They'll have to find food. And I hope that they may. 'Good luck, boys,' he cried. And he sent them away." Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax" continues, "I … felt sad as I watched them all go. But … business is business! And business must grow … I meant no harm. I most truly did not. But I had to grow bigger. So bigger I got. I biggered my factory. I biggered my roads. I biggered my wagons. I biggered the loads. … I went right on biggering … selling more Thneeds. And I biggered my money, which everyone needs."

This anxiety is the driving force behind today's environmentalist activists. While I eventually came to my senses, developing an adult's sense of realism and the ability to use basic logic, many wide-eyed children never realize this innate capacity for reason. Primed by fear, worry and helplessness at an early age, they become the hectoring, self-righteous, insufferable "green" cultists who spend their time trying to make you toe their environmentalist line. Previously in Technocracy, I described to you the spiritual fervor of these green religionists. If you won't listen to them voluntarily, then by Gaia, they'll make you listen by bludgeoning you with the force of law. Any violation of your rights as a free citizen is justified to the green religionists, because they're afraid. Their anxiety, their helplessness, instilled in them from childhood, is untempered by common sense, unleavened by pragmatism and touched by neither logic nor skepticism. They are true believers. In their minds, the failure to believe individually is a sentence of death collectively. Seeing them as frightened children, reading "The Lorax" with tears in their eyes, how can we not at least pity them?
The problem is that when such long-rooted anxieties run unchecked in adults, violently deranged environmental lunatics result. The famous Unabomber was one; he was an environmental activist who at least lived as he preached, withdrawing into a tarpaper shack in the woods … but when that didn't assuage his sense that something must be done, he started mailing bombs to people. Fellow green religionist James Jay Lee
protested against those he believed were helping to harm his precious environment. He hated his fellow human beings so much that when he took up a gun to make his murderous point, it should not have come as a big surprise to anyone who knew him. He, like his fellow traveler green religionists, was motivated by a child's fear and helplessness in the face of impending doom. "Do something!" is the rallying cry of all such activists, and violent outbursts are the predictable results. Comment

The Devil's Domain and Influence

The Devil's Domain and Influence

There is no neutral ground in the universe; every square inch, every split second, is claimed by God and counter-claimed by Satan. —C. S. Lewis
During our formative years in ministry, few people more profoundly influenced our theology and practical Christianity than pastor and theologian Dr. Robert Cornwall. Bob—or simply “Cornwall,” as his friends knew him—had a photographic memory, and in order to pay his way through Bible college as a young man, he had gotten a job proofreading books for a publisher of scholarly works. As a result of maintaining this job for years and having an uncanny propensity for recalling facts, Cornwall retained the majority of material he read and became one of the most well informed and brilliant thinkers we ever had the privilege of knowing or being mentored under. Cornwall was also a great storyteller and could thrill audiences at churches and in conferences by weaving details of true-life events with deep theological propositions. http://www.newswithviews.com/Horn/thomas144.htm

The Only 9/11 Image You Need to See

''He is, fifteen seconds past 9:41 a.m. EST, the moment the picture is taken, in the clutches of pure physics, accelerating at a rate of thirty-two feet per second squared. He will soon be traveling at upwards of 150 miles per hour, and he is upside down. In the picture, he is frozen; in his life outside the frame, he drops and keeps dropping until he disappears.''

The name is very interesting. Cordoba (Qurtuba) is the name of a city in Spain which was captured by the muslims in  700AD. They turned it into a regional capital to rule over the Spanish province. It is standard practice for muslims to destroy prominent landmarks of defeated opponents and then build over them with their own buildings. The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem is an example of this. With all the delays in building the freedom towers, I wonder if there are any major players in the delay.

It is part of the Islamic doctrine of erasing the past of a defeated opponent and rewriting the history of an area. I donft remember the Arabic name, but they refer to the time before Islam (a land that has yet to be conquered and converted) as a time of darkness and the time after an area has been converted as a time of light. This is why Kafiristan (Land of the infidels) was conquered and renamed Nuristan (Land of the light) If we keep allowing these things to happen, we shall all become Dhimmis of our own making.

Which Holy Book will you burn tomorrow?

So where is that birth certificate?

So where is that birth certificate?

"I can't spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead."
That's what Barack Obama told NBC's Brian Williams in a sympathetic interview Sunday night in answer to why Americans have doubts about his religious faith.
I agree with Obama that he should not be required to plaster his birth certificate on his forehead. That would, indeed, be an unreasonable demand. In fact, I would personally denounce anyone who asked Obama to take such an action.
Yet, since 58 percent of Americans, according to a recent CNN poll, have serious doubts about his birth story, a matter that is essential to establishing his constitutional eligibility for office, should he simply show it one time? Would that be unreasonable?
If Obama wants people to believe him, shouldn't he occasionally show some harmless evidence that his claims are true?
Get the one, single report that could sink Obama's presidency - for free!
Obama thinks we should take what he says on faith. That's not reasonable – not for any politician, but certainly not for one who has established a pattern of concealing literally all documentation regarding his past – from passport and travel records, to health reports, to school records, to college and university transcripts, to academic papers he wrote and much more.
I am the guy who asked the question, "Where's the birth certificate?"
