What most of America has been saying for the past months is DRILL!!!! DRILL!!!! DRILL!!!! President Bush lifted the restrictions on off-shore drilling and the price of oil drops $13 in 3 days. Coincidence? NO WAY!!!! Of course, our idiot media types cannot equate Bush's words and the immediate reduction in the price of oil. This is just more proof that journalism has devolved into the dumbest profession on this planet.

As a kid growing up in the 1960s in New York, my experience was that everyone was conscious of ethnicity. Despite this, ethnic jokes were accepted among friends, as were ethnic slurs.
